This is one of my fondest memories of my childhood, just being silly with my mom in the backyard. In a time before digital cameras, I am so fortunate to have this moment captured forever in a photo. My mom is the absolute craftiest women I've ever known. She makes amazingly intricate quilts by hand, spins her own yarn from rabbit wool to make sweaters, and can draw animals, people, and even architecture as realistic as a photograph. She can paint, sew, cut hair (people and dogs!) and is completely self taught in all of these things. My mom has always been my creative inspiration and I just hope that I can be as inspiring to Devon one day.
